Nathan Nam (age 10) is a fifth grader in Virginia. He started piano at age six and is under the tutelage of Dr. Mihyang Joo. He won awards at several music competitions. He was a first-place winner at the 2021 YMIC Metropolitan Music Festival and the 2021 Elite International Music Competition. He has won second place at the 2022 YMIC Metropolitan Classical Music Festival, the 2022 OPUS Music Competition for the Virginia State, and the 2022 Charleston International Music Competition. He was also a third-prize winner for Best Bach Performance in the 2022 Great Composition Competition. He plays violin and loves exploring new hiking trails and skiing slopes.
