Nathan Y. Zhong lives in Clarksville, Maryland and is a rising senior at River Hill High School. Nathan’s piano journey commenced eleven years ago with Ms. Olga Kuperstein. Throughout the years, he has won 1st place at Maryland State High School Awards Piano Competition (2022), 2nd place at Young Musicians Inspiring Change (YMIC) international competition (2022), honorable mention at American Virtuoso International Music Competition (2022), and numerous 1st prizes at Mid-Atlantic area competitions including Miriam Gottlieb Piano Competition (2022, 2018, 2017). Nathan is also a cellist, playing in the Maryland All-State Orchestra and Howard County Youth Orchestra in 2023.
