Olivia Bao, a 10-year-old piano student, comes from Utah. She grew interested in playing the piano during a trip to China when she was five, and started taking piano lessons with her teacher, Ya Liu. In the following years, she would find her-self getting increasingly confident in playing the piano and understanding music in general. Besides appearing in community performances, Olivia has attended competitions on local, national and international levels. She is the 1st place winner in DeBose National Piano Competition (2022 & 2023), second place winner in US International Duo Piano Competition (2023), second place winner in American Protégé Competition (2023) , and second place winner in 5th WPTA Finland International Piano Competition (2023).
