Olivia Jiang is a high school sophomore and a devoted young pianist who began playing the piano at age five. When she was ten, she made her orchestral debut as a soloist with the American West Symphony. Since then, she has performed with various orchestras multiple times in Utah. She enjoys sharing music with others and volunteering in senior living centers. Competitively, she has participated in many piano competitions both locally and internationally, winning numerous prizes. Most recently, she won 1st place in the Utah Summer Arts Concerto Competition, 2nd place in the 2024 American Mountain West International Piano Competition, 2nd place in the 2024 Helen Taylor Johannesen International Piano Festival, and 1st place in the Charleston International Music Competition, among others. Aside from music, Olivia also enjoys math, tennis, and chess.
