At just 7 years old, Oscar has already embarked on an incredible musical journey. His love for the piano began at five. He is currently learning with Huajun Zhang.
Oscar’s dedication and talent quickly became evident. In 2022, his first year competing, he won a remarkable second and fourth place finish at the US Open Music Competition. This success only fueled his passion, and in 2023, he returned to the competition not only winning a first prize, but also an impressive four second-place finishes.
Oscar’s musicality has captivated audiences and judges alike. They consistently praise his ability to bring emotions to life through his playing, highlighting his natural talent and masterful use of dynamics. This year, Oscar once again demonstrated his exceptional skills by winning first prize in the 5-7 year old showcase event and a second prize at the 2024 US Open Music Competition.
