I started learning Zhongruan, a Chinese traditional musical instrument, when I was 6. Despite having tried other instruments, I found Zhongruan my favorite. I am really into it since it is a connection that links me with the past. This is the first time for me to take part in an international competition with Zhongruan. I hope Charleston can be my first step of bringing the traditional instrument into the world.
