10-year-old Phabian Parra is a 5th grader from Mountain View, California. He studies with Ms. Ruzanna Faramazyan. Phabian started his piano journey at five years old and loved the world of music and performance ever since.
Phabian was humbled to win many prizes from piano competitons. His recent achievements include 2nd Place in 2023 US Open Music Competiton (USOMC), junior romantic and junior baroque categories, 2nd Place in 2022 USOMC, junior classical and romantic cateogries, and 3rd Place in 2021 Silicon Valley Competition for Young Musicians. Phabian loves to perform and has been prised for his music sensitivity and elegant character in his piano performance.
Besides music, Phabian is a competitive pre-teen Latin Ballroom dancer and a finalist in US national competitions. In his free time, he enjoys math, swimming, traveling with family, and video games with his older brother who is also a pianist and musician.
