Pietà Baca, at the age of 6, placed 1st in her debut live competition, in May of 2022, in the Classical Vocal Repertoire Category of the Musical Arts Competition of Orange County, CA, an annual competition since the 1940’s. As a winner, she was invited and sang at the Richard M. Nixon Library, in California on June 12, 2022. She was 6 also when awarded 2nd place in the Classical Repertoire for the 2022 American Protégé International Vocal Competition, being invited and then performing at Carnegie Hall on March 26, 2023. She placed 1st in the live competition, January 2023, in the Classical Repertoire for the Concordia Music Competition, Concordia University in California. She finished third in the Charleston Baroque Music Competition with a video submission. She was one of the top performers of 89 finalists on YouTube for the Baroque Charleston Music Competition. April 2023 for the MUSYCA Festival, with the same video submission, she was awarded a three-way third place across categories of piano, strings, and vocal as the solo vocal winner and all others being pianists from age 5 – 10. In April, 2023 she placed 1st in the International Grande Music Competition. Most recently, in May 2023, she placed 1st in the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition, being invited to sing at the Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Her love for singing and performing extends to all art, bringing light, joy, and hope to the world through the arts.
