Preston Hernandez is a classical saxophonist that has performed to critical acclaim throughout the United States. As a soloist, Hernandez has been a finalist in the North American Saxophone Alliance Solo Competition, and he was also a winner of the 2022 Houston Underground Saxophone Competition. Further, he has also been a finalist in state and regional Music Teachers National Association solo competitons.
Hernandez also is the sopano chair and a founding member of the LSU saxophone quartet.
Currently, Hernandez studies at the Louisiana State University School of Music, and is a student Dr. Griffin Campbell.
