Rachel is a 9th-grade student at Carmel Christian School. She loves music, dancing, reading, and playing volleyball. She began her piano study when she was five years old with Mrs. Irena Hramenkova. She won first place in the NC Federation of Music Clubs, Lady of Music, and Second place in the Steinway International Piano Competition in 2019. In the Summer of 2019, Rachel tried a few violin lessons and she fell in love with the violin. She has been studying with Mrs. Tatiana Karpova since then. After about a year of playing violin, Rachel has been accepted to the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestras as a violinist since 2020. She recently started to participate in violin competitions such as the 2023 MTNA competition and will join 2023-2024 Young Artists competition of The Symphony Guild of Charlotte, 2023 Prodigy International Music Competition, 2024 American Protégé International Concerto Competition, etc.
