Rachel Won is currently a freshman at Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana. She is Herbert Zipper Scholar at the Colburn Community School of Performing Arts, where she studies with Sam Fischer. At Colburn, she has had many performance experiences including being concertmaster of the Colburn String Ensemble and playing in chamber ensembles and masterclasses. She has attended summer programs including the Montecito International Music Festival, Youth Orchestra Los Angeles, Center Stage Strings, and the Sounding Point Academy. Rachel has always enjoyed being on stage performing for others. In addition to her violin performances, she has appeared in musicals and competed in speech and debate tournaments. Rachel loves doing any kind of art in her free time, being outside with nature, and traveling with her family.
