Ray Takagi, a sophomore in Irvine, California, was introduced to piano at the age of five.
Music plays a key role in his family. Growing up with a musical family, Ray is passionate about sharing music. Ray has made a huge impact in the community. He has been performing solo piano and Disney medley duets with his older brother for senior citizens in retirement homes throughout Orange County since the age of 12
As a young pianist, Ray has been awarded 1st prize winner at Satori Music Competition, Southwestern Youth Music Festival, Great Composer Rising Talent Competition.
Ray’s favorite things to do are reading and trying new things he finds mildly interesting.
