My name is Raymond Delgado and I am 12 years old. I have been playing the violin for 7 years. Throughout my time playing violin, I have played and performed many different pieces. I have performed solo at many venues and events including galas, talent shows, neighborhood celebrations, different stages in the Orange County area, and more. One of my most notable performances includes playing the National Anthem for over 1000 people at the start of a Fourth of July celebration. My achievements have been accomplished by the hard work and dedication that I have for practicing my violin. I currently take private lessons once a week at a music school called Orange County School of Music and Dance. There, I have been featured in the school’s “Student Spotlight” recognition page for my violin performances.
Playing the violin has taught me to never give up, to work hard, and to put time and effort into practicing. Playing the violin makes me feel like I have a unique talent, and makes me feel different emotions inside.
I am very proud of my musical journey and have enjoyed the process and feelings of accomplishment through music.
