
American soprano Rebecca Manseau was the 2023 winner of the Georgia NATS auditions and is a finalist for the Euterpe Music Awards. She was a semi-finalist for the 2021 “Musica sacra” competition in Rome as well as a Georgia District competitor in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition 2022. She made her professional debut as Najade in a production of R. Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Recent engagements include the Landesbühnen Sachsen’s 2023 production of Der Freischütz at the Felsenbühne Rathen and the Liederabend “Homesickness and Memory,” featuring Dvorak’s Biblical Songs and selected songs by Rachmaninoff and R. Strauss in Berlin, Germany. She is a graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South and the Freie Universität Berlin, where she was the recipient of Fulbright and DAAD study grants. She has pursued private vocal studies with soprano Martina Rüping in Berlin, Germany, and is completing her Masters in Vocal Performance with tenor Dr. Joshua May at Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia, USA.
