Regina Moon

Regina Moon is a 13-year-old cello student that lives and studies in New York under Ms. Jennifer Park. She started playing cello at the age of six in a small town in Western New York where there were no string education opportunities. During the outbreak of pandemic in 2019, she continued her study in music via video communications. As she became more passionate about her study in cello, she transferred to a school district that has great support for music and school orchestras. Since then, she has participated in regional and national competitions, music festivals and orchestras including school and the All States. She has won awards from American Protégé Piano and String Competition 2024, Clarence Board of Music Education twice in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Moon is a passionate, faithful music student that loves to explore the world through music.
