I am Ruolan Hao. I was born in 2011 in Shanghai. I have learned piano for 9 years, composition for 6 years and percussion for 3 years. I was enrolled in the Tianjin Juilliard School Pre-College program as a piano major student from September 2022 to May 2025; as a composition major student from September 2025 to the present.
Percussion is my second instrument. My percussion teacher is June Hahn who is a Korean percussion professor in Tianjin Juilliard School. I have learned marimba, vibraphone, timpani, snare drum, xylophone and triangle from her. I am a percussionist in Chamber Winds of Tianjin Juilliard School Pre-College. I composed some works for percussion and created new percussion toys in my works. I would like to connect with more communities through composing and playing music.
