Ryan Leong is a current high school senior from Arcadia, California, and has been playing piano since the age of four. He has completed all 10 levels in the Certificate of Merit and performed in numerous Branch Honors recitals. Ryan also received first place in countless Junior Music Festivals. He is constantly being inspired and expanding his strong passion for music by learning advanced music theory, discovering about the lives of different performers and composers, and finding new songs to listen to and play. His most favorite and admired figures in music history are Franz Liszt, Frederic Chopin, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Van Cliburn. He is also interested in music composition, and has composed many different pieces of his own. Ryan has performed at piano recitals, senior homes, competitions, chamber music recitals, and other special events.
