Ryan Pi

Seunghoon (Ryan) Pi was born in South Korea and moved to the US when he was 2 years old. He is 13 years old and currently goes to Greater Atlanta Christian School in Georgia.
He has studied cello with Elaine Shin since age 8.
He won 1st place in GMTA (Georgia Music Teachers Association) in 2018, 1st place in GMTA in 2020 and 2nd place in GMTA in 2022. Seunghoon was the principal cellist of the Georgia All-State Middle School Orchestra in 2021 as a 6th grader. He also won 3rd place in Southern division of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) in 2021 and won 3rd place in CAIC (Camerata Artists International Competition) in 2022. He hopes to learn more about the cello as he goes through life, which will be sure to be filled with a lot of music.
