Ryan Zargham Cheng

Ryan started playing violin at the age of five. In Ohio, he studied with Kurt Sassmannshaus in Ohio and joined the Starling Project at the Cincinnati Conservatory. He has performed at the Schuster Center as concertmaster of the Dayton Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and has also since performed with the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra at Carnegie Hall. After moving to LA, he began studying with Joan Kwuon under Colburn Conservatory in 2022. He is now an 11th grader at Harvard-Westlake; he plays with the school symphony and also teaches music to younger kids.
