Sachet Abeysinghe is a 7th grader at Indian Hill Middle school in Cincinnati, OH . He has been playing piano since he was 3 years old. Currently, Sachet is taking lessons from Dr. Yuking Chou Brandenburgh of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM). Sachet has won numerous local and international piano competitions including 2nd place in Elementary division in Tri-State Piano Concerto Competition in 2018, the second place in Carmel Klavier International piano competition in Concerto category held in Carmel, Indiana in 2018, Trophy and Special award “The 2018 Julia Bartles Concerto Competition Award” at the Concerto competition conducted by Northern Kentucky School of Music, the first place at the Rising Talents of Americas for Piano at the Great Composers International Music Competition in 2021, and Gold medal at the 2021 CCM Preparatory Spring PianOlympics. In 2023, Sachet won the first place at the Julia Bartles Concerto Competition for piano and performed at the Cincinnati Memorial Hall. Recently he won 3rd place at the American Protégé Piano and Strings International competition and performed at the Carnegie Hall in New York in season 2023.
