Saiya was born in New York City and now lives in Florida, where she is a senior at the Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale. She has been playing the violin for 10 years and studies with Elizabeth Faidley. The violin has been part of her favorite experiences and memories throughout the years, especially the opportunities she has had to perform at Carnegie Hall. She has also enjoyed performing as a soloist with the American Chamber Orchestra and the New York Chamber Players and as part of the orchestra at the New World Symphony in Miami. When she isn’t playing the violin, she loves to spend time with her family and friends and go to the beach.
