Sarah Ng

Singaporean violinist Sarah Ng has established a worldwide career. Some highlights include performing at the Vermont Mozart Festival, Round Top Festival, Madeline Island String Quartet Fellowship, and Young EuroClassic in Berlin. She has also held positions with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra and National Academy Orchestra in Canada. Most recently, she won a prize with the Medici International Music Competition.

Sarah’s passion for chamber music led her to work with the Ying Quartet, Jupiter String Quartet, American String Quartet, Arianna String Quartet, Chiara String Quartet, Penderecki String Quartet, and T’ang Quartet. She was also a finalist in the International Norman Cooper Chamber Competition.

Sarah holds degrees from the McGill Schulich School of Music and Eastman School of Music. She frequently collaborates with ensembles back in Singapore, such as the Singapore Lyric Opera.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys training Brazilian Jiujitsu.
