Saya Lee

A native of South Korea, Saya Lee has been praised for his rich and powerful bass, as well as his ability to embody dramatic and comic characters on the operatic stage. He has given performances in prestigious concert halls in South Korea and United States, including KBS Hall, Seoul Arts Center, Seongnam Arts Center, Creamery Arts Center, Paul Voertman Hall, Lyric Theater of the Murchison Performing Arts Center. He received his bachelor of music degree in vocal arts from Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea. He performed on various operas, including La bohème, Gianni Schicchi, Le Nozze di Figaro. Also, he received his master of music degree in vocal performance from the College of Music, University of North Texas, Denton, TX, where he performed numerous operas, including The Cunning Little Vixen, Gianni Schicchi, Dialogues des Carmélites, and various opera scenes. He was awarded first prize at IMKA international music competition, Sarajevo (Bosnia). He is an active soloist, having performed in the United States, as well as South Korea through numerous music concerts and operas.
