Serena Cai, age 11, is in the 5th Grade TD Program at Charles H. Parker Academic Center, Charlotte NC. She began playing piano at the age of 5 and currently studies piano with Mrs. Irena Hramenkova. She has played in Federation Festivals and Concerto Competition every year. She has won the 2020 Concerto Competition 1st Place, the NCFMC 2021 Mary David Memorial Award, and several other awards. She has been chosen as a Second Place Winner of the American Protege International Concerto Competition and has been invited to play at Carnegie Hall in 2023.
