Seulji Kim is from South Korea and currently studies piano with Dr. Kristín Jónína Taylor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is a talented young pianist who was a choral collaborator with the prestigious Jeonbuk CBS women’s choir in South Korea. In 2017, she was a selected participant in Dr. Kyung Kim’s International Piano Camp at the University of Minnesota. She was additionally selected to perform at the Nebraska Rising Stars Concert at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Seulji has distinguished herself with notable honors such as the second prize at American Protegé Competition, resulting in her performance at a winner’s recital at Carnegie Hall. She also won the first prize in the Nebraska State Division of the Music Teachers National Association Young Artist Piano Competition as well as the 2019 Concerto/Aria Competition at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Most recently, she won the first prize at the 2020 Charleston International Romantic Music Competition.
