Shaheer Hassan Khurram

Shaheer Khurram is 8 years old and is currently a second grader at Goshen Post Elementary School. Shaheer started learning piano with Dr. Mihyang Joo at the age of 4. He participated in his first competition in May 2020 at NVMTA Sonata Festival. Since then, he has won several awards including 2nd place in the 2020 Fall Music Competition from Charleston Music Competition, 2nd place in 2021 Best Kabalevsky Performance competition, 2nd place in 2022 YMIC Metropolitan Music Festival, and 2nd place in 2023 NVMTA Concerto Festival. He also received honorable mention in the 2020 and 2021 Metropolitan Music Festival. Besides piano, Shaheer enjoys tennis, swimming, and taekwondo.
