Shera is a talented young violinist who has been playing violin since the age of 6.
Mesmerized by the “Crystallized” video performed by Lindsey Stirling, she fell in love with violin when was still 3 years old at that time.
Violin is the music instrument that she chose by herself.
She began taking violin lessons with Ms Yih Shyue until now, and through her violin teacher, she was introduced to Kids’ Philharmonic Orchestra Singapore.
She has been performing with the orchestra in Singapore, Malaysia, and the recent one was in Suzhou-China in November 2024.
Shera’s favorite composers include Vivaldi and Paganini, and she wishes to play the Vivaldi Four Season pieces and Sarasate: Carmen Fantasy one day!
She is currently preparing for her orchestra and solo performance in Europe, and hopes to one day she will become a professional violinist.
“Playing violin makes me feel happy ‘till I want to dance”, Shera says. “I love to express myself through music”.
