Chen Shiyang graduated from the High School Affiliated to Wuhan Conservatory of Music in 2019. Now studying at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, majoring in piano performance, and studying under Dror Biran. In 2016, she won the gold medal in the Jiangxi Division of the Steinberg Piano Competition. In 2017, she studied under Professor Jiang Liping, the former dean of the Piano Department of Wuhan Conservatory of Music. In July 2018, she participated in the Summer Music Concert with teachers from the Piano Department of Wuhan Conservatory of Music. In the same month, she went to the United States to participate in The 4th international America master music festival of school and won a scholarship. Shiyang won the third prize in the ageless group in the Piano Solo Competition at the American International Famous Music Festival. In the 2018 academic year, she won the professional single scholarship of Wuhan Conservatory of Music with outstanding professional results, and won the Bronze Award in the professional group of the Shanghai International Youth Piano Competition. In 2019, the Solo Music School was held in the Art College of Jiangxi Normal University, which was well received. In 2021, she won the gold medal in the Jiangxi Division of the Pearl River Kaiserburg International Youth Piano Competition, and the first prize of the Tchaikovsky Art Prize Asian Piano Competition. In 2022, she participated in the California International Moncetito Music Festival and perform a quartet with praise. During her studies, she was carefully taught by many famous teachers, and participated in chamber music quintet performances at the Newark Roselle Center for the Arts at the University of Delaware, and received unanimous praise.
