Shriya Garg

Shriya Garg, a 17-year-old in Scarsdale, New York, started her musical journey with the violin at 6 years old. She began her formal violin training under the guidance of Pranvera Cobo in Pelham, laying the foundation for a rich and enduring musical career. Shriya then continued her studies with Tatiana Feign at the Westchester Music Conservatory for seven years, where she learned complex compositions and honed her performance skills.

Her commitment to music has led to significant achievements, including earning a silver medal in Golden Key Festival, which qualified her to perform at Carnegie Hall. Shriya has also been a participant in NYSSMA, where she earned spots in the Area All-State and All County Orchestra twice. Shriya regularly performs at various venues in her community, such as nursing homes, continuously sharing her passion for music while also giving back. She is the founder of Cultural Harmony Initiative, which aims to foster global unity through music by highlighting diverse musical traditions and fundraising instruments for underprivileged students. This initiative has expanded to include members across over 15 U.S. states and two international countries, making musical education accessible to all.
