My music journey with the bassoon first started in the 6th grade. I had volunteered to play at a rehab center for people who struggle with addiction (ARC: Alcohol and drug Rehabilitation Center). After I played “We are the Champions.”, a client of the ARC told me that my music had inspired him to rebuild all the things he had lost in his life. I realized that I could impact someone’s life in a positive way through my music which ultimately encouraged me to continue my musical career. I took a further step in my music journey when I co-founded my club, Classic4U. Through this, our chamber orchestra regularly visits seniors living alone and veterans at the shelter to celebrate their birthdays every month. I wish to continue inspiring others through my music and spread joy.
