Solara Kim is a first grade student at the Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Solara was a winner at the Baton Rouge Romantic Contemporary Piano Competition in 2024. She was also selected as a finalist at the Chicago International Music Competition in 2023. She was a winner at the New Orleans Music Teachers Association Romantic Contemporary Piano Competition in 2022. Solara also plays the violin and has won the 2023 Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestras Young Artists Concerto competition. In addition to her activities in music, Solara also enjoys tennis, swimming and ski. She is looking forward to play them competitively in near future.
