Sophie was born in Boston, MA in 2012 and moved to Bay area in 2015. At the age of 6, Sophie started to learn violin and is currently studying with Angeline Branson. She loves to share her music with others and spread the joy of music with her family and friends. In 2023, Sophie won a 2nd prize award in the US International Open Music Competition. Sophie alo plays violin in the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra and appears as concertmaster of Peterson Middle School in Sunnyvale, CA. Besides playing violin, Sophie likes dancing ballet, enjoys learning French and traveling with her family.
