Stacy Jager

Stacy Jager

My name is Stacy Jager, and I grew up in Wisconsin. I am passionate about music, whether it’s playing piano, guitar, or singing. I have been playing piano since I was nine and have always felt it was my calling. Piano has been my main instrument throughout my life, and I’ve played at church and various events for as long as I can remember. While I learned guitar in college, I’ve found it especially useful for music therapy because it’s more portable.

I majored in Music Therapy and earned my Bachelor’s of Music degree from Alverno College in 2007. Since then, I have been using my musical skills professionally. I am self-employed, teaching piano and providing music therapy to residents in retirement homes across the greater Chicago area. I offer both group sessions and one-on-one therapy, tailoring my approach to meet each resident’s needs. Additionally, I teach piano lessons in my home and at retirement homes.

Music is my passion—not just for my own fulfillment but as a way to help others. I am also a composer, and my creative journey has led me to release my own piano CD, Doorway. Many people have expressed how much they enjoy my music, and I am eager to share it with a broader audience. I hope to continue composing, recording, and connecting with others who can help me bring my music to the world.

I am actively looking to network with individuals in retirement communities, care facilities, and the recording industry. If you share a love for music or see opportunities to collaborate, I’d love to connect!
