Suri Hong

Suri Hong is currently a ninth grader at Brookfield East High School in Wisconsin. She started learning piano from Tatyana Smith when she was four years old. Suri has participated in many music festivals and has received rewards, which include being the winner of the Wisconsin Federation Music Festival competition in 2017 and 2022 and being rewarded with a scholarship from WFMF in 2022. Outstanding music accomplishment award from the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association in 2019. Nominated for an exemplary award from the Wisconsin School Music Association in 2023.
In the summer of 2023, Suri had a great opportunity to join the New England Chamber Music Intensive Camp and study with the professor. Elena Abend for two weeks.
Recently, Suri joined the Advanced Chamber Music Institution as a trio with another two teen musicians at the Wisconsin Music Conservatory. Beside playing piano, Suri is a member of her school symphony orchestra, playing violin, and she plays softball and tennis for her high school team.
