Susan Guo is 8 years old and has been playing violin since she was 4. She has had the honor to study violin with Dr. Chih-Jung Hsu and Ms. Shelley Livingston for the past few years. She has participated in many recitals and masterclasses, including one held in Dalian, June 2021 with violinist Siqing Lu, and another held in Orlando, Feb 2022 with Nick Eanet. She also got recognition in many competitions, such as highest honors in the 2022 Sacred Music Florida Competition, 2nd place in Elite International Music Competition (invited to perform at the Carnegie Hall winners recital), finalist in the Peter Perret Youth Talent Search 2022, 1st place and recitalist in the 2023 Durham Music Teachers Assosication Festival (only one in her age group).
