Suyeon Yang is a top prize winner in numerous competitions, including the Seoul Arts Competition, 13th Korea Young Artist Music Competition, My Contest Competition, Tool Music Competition, Yeum Classic Competition, Teenager Piano Competition, and Music Education News Competition. She was a semifinalist in the Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians. Ms. Yang has been invited to perform at prestigious venues such as the YoungSan Arts Center and Suwon SK Artrium.
Suyeon is currently a sophomore studying piano performance under the guidance of Dr. Hye-Jung Hong at Missouri State University. She graduated from YeaWon School and Seoul Arts High School in Korea, and her previous teachers include Haesung Min.
