Sydney Feldman

Sydney is a senior at The Nueva School and studies music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Division with Cathy Payne. She plays in the San Francisco Youth Symphony Orchestra and has also played in a variety of chamber ensembles through SFCM. In addition to ensemble playing, Sydney has won solo competitions such as the National YoungArts Foundation 2022 Competition and the National Flute Association High School Flute Choir Competition, where she performed in a flute choir at the NFA 2022 convention. She has played in masterclasses for artists such as Leone Buyse and Carol Wincenc and participated in Eastern Music Festival’s 61st season, where she studied with Ann Choomack.
