I first began my music journey in 1st grade when I started learning piano. By 5th grade, I had stopped playing piano in favor of guzheng (a traditional Chinese instrument) and cello. Since then, I have participated in various competitions, including the American Protégé Piano and Strings Competition, in which I was most recently awarded 3rd place in the junior category.
