I am a 16-year-old junior from the Bay Area in California, and I started learning piano when I was 6 years old, motivated by my passion for classical music. Before I moved to California, I participated in various piano competitions and won awards from the Bach Junior Music Competition and Indiana State Fair classical and sonata competitions, and after moving, I participated in the American Protege Competition and won second place. I also enjoy sharing classical music with friends, family, and the community, playing in various public recitals such as at the local library, in a street recital, for senior homes, and for a church event. I believe playing music for the community can bring happiness to everyone.
Other than piano, I have been playing the violin since 4th grade, successfully auditioning for the local youth symphony in 6th grade and playing in public concerts four times a year and in Europe biennially. Currently, I am studying at CSMA as a qualified Merit Scholar.
