Cason Tam is a 10-year-old boy from Hong Kong. He loves playing the cello. He has achieved multiple awards in prestigious competitions worldwide. Some recent awards include: Absolute 1st Prize in Jean-Philippe Rameau International Music Competition 2025 (Cello Grade 8 & Above); 1st Prize in 9th Swiss International Music Competition Lugano 2025; 1st Prize in New York “Golden Classical Music Awards” 2025 International Competition; 1st Prize in Beethoven International Music Competition UK 2025; Absolute 1st Prize in Bach International Music Competition UK 2024; Absolute 1st Prize in World Melodia Music Award 2024; Absolute Winner in IYMC Atlanta USA Artists of the Year Competition International Music Competition 2024; Absolute 1st Prize and Exceptional Technique Special Prize in Vivaldi International Music Competition 2024; 1st Prize in Bonn “Grand Prize Virtuoso” 2023 and was invited to perform at the Beethoven House (Germany).

Cason enjoys performing on stage. He currently plays as the principal cellist of the school orchestra and has been performing in various orchestras, ensembles and string quartet. He has also been playing in multiple masterclasses, where he continues to learn from esteemed musicians.
