Thomas Nguyen is an incoming senior studying under Shearon Horton’s guidance. He has enjoyed competitive success across many competitions, including first and top prizes at the TMTA State Performance Contest, TMEA All-State, UIL TSSEC, Blinn College Competition, Baylor-Waco Competition, Wednesday Morning Music Club, Steinway Piano Gallery Concerto Competition, ADMTA Solo Contest, and ADMTA Scholarship Contest. In addition to competing, he has also performed three concertos with a symphony orchestra and works extensively as a collaborative pianist accompanying his school choir, orchestra, and vocal and instrumental soloists. Aside from music, he also loves spending time outdoors and playing tennis.
