
Tiffany YEH started learning piano and violin at the age of four. Her musical interest was inspired by, nurtured by her father, who is also a classical guitarist, and a choral conductor, Cheung-Shing YEH. Tiffany graduated with a BA in Music the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has reached the diploma level in three instruments: violin, viola and piano.
As early as in her teenage years, she represented her alma mater, St. Stephen’s Girls’ College, invited by the Hong Kong government, to perform in the string quartet at the government house. She also performed a solo in the School’s Choir Tour to Milan Italy and Verona. She had been actively participated in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival and won numerous prizes in the piano solo, violin solo, string ensemble and orchestra entries.
Other then solo piano, she also enjoys playing in orchestras: she was the first violin assistance principle of the university Orchestra (Chung Chi Orchestra), the second violin assistant principal of the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the principal violist of the CUHK Student Orchestra. She was honoured to be the representative of her university music department to accept a full scholarship to take part in the Kirishima International Music Festival in 2018.
