Tiger Stepinski

I am Tiger Stepinski and I just turned 15 years old. I have been playing piano for nearly 6 years now. When I started I borrowed my first teacher’s 76 key keyboard and played simple songs from Alfred’s book series. My mom wanted me to play piano just for something to focus on. None of my family plays an instrument. I transferred to my current teacher, Sukyoung Kwon. She told me when I first came to her she saw potential in me and I have been her student ever since. Without her I couldn’t have done any of this! I have participated in many competitions including OMTA, MTNA, Hubbard-Males, Gilliam Music Competitions, Steinway Junior Piano Competitions, American Protégé, and Progressive Musicians to name a few. I have also played piano in various places including Vail, Colorado, Kalispell, Montana, Prince of Wales Hotel in Canada and a handful more. Some inspirations come from Chopin, Beethoven, and Mozart. As I mature I would like to be a professional pianist. I would be immensely proud if I could be at least well known in my state. I have been through many ups and downs throughout my piano journey but overall I think this path was worth it and amazing.
