Torsten Fras is a harpsichordist born in 2007. He started learning piano when he was five, and started learning harpsichord when he was eleven, studying under the guidance of Dr. Anna Kislitsyna at the Nelly Berman School of Music. Since then, he has been awarded a variety of prizes from a number of competitions including the Boulder Bach Society’s World Bach Competition, the French International Music Competition, and the Canadian International Music Competition. He resides in Haverford Pennsylvania with his family. When not practicing harpsichord, he enjoys reading, playing tennis and squash, traveling when it was allowed, and watching movies on the weekends with his family.
