Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Joyce Lin is an aspiring pianist currently based in Los Angeles, California. Soon after discovering her musical talent in music, Ariel started her musical training in Taiwan at the age of four. As a solo pianist, she continues to gain musical experiences by participating in international music festivals in Asia, and the United States. She has performed in masterclasses with Bruce Brubaker, Alexander Korsantia and Inna Faliks.
As a passionate chamber musician, Joyce has collaborated with other talented musicians and has performed at numerous chamber music concert series and recitals. In addition, she served as piano accompanist and University of Southern California.
Joyce graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from University of California, Los Angeles under the tutelage of Professor David Kaplan and Dr. James Lent. She furthered her education by pursuing her Master of Music in Keyboard Collaborative Arts at University of Southern California, under the tutelage of Dr. Alan Smith.
