Tyler Edwards is 15 years old and attends Westlake High School. He is the Principal Violist in Chamber Orchestra at WHS. Additionally, Tyler is a member of CVYO and CSUN Youth Orchestra. When not in these Orchestras, Tyler is busy composing, arranging, and rehearsing for his biannual concerts he puts on with peers. His last concert had a robust twenty seven musician roster. One of Tyler’s favorite ways of playing viola, is in pit orchestras for musicals. He loves the excitement of the orchestra collaborating with the theatre talent. This summer Tyler will be attending the Montecito International Music Festival. This is Tyler’s first venture into competition. He is looking forward to the journey.
