Starting piano at eight years old, U.N. studied under of Eun Young Joo in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam until the COVID pandemic in 2020. She now is under the instruction of Young Sook Kang in Irvine, California studying aborad as a senior at Beckman High School. U.N. has participated in numerous competitions and examinations: she placed second in the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition in 2022, placing first in Open Solo of Satori Young Pianist Competition in 2023, is a Grand Prize Finalist at Satori Competition in 2023, a Gold Medalist of MTAC Romantic Theme Festival, and passed the Advanced Level in Certificate of Merit MTAC with State Honors in 2022. She performed at the American Protégé Winners Recital this November in Carnegie Hall in 2023. She will graduate high school this year and aspires to continue her musical studies in the future.
