For as long as I can remember, classical music has been an essential part of my life. From the sharps and flats to the pianissimos and fortissimos, it has swayed me in indescribable directions countless times. I have played and accomplished numerous compositions by legendary composers, whose reputations live on to this day. I have taken these pieces onto the stage, where I have expressed their inner message even to those who do not understand music. Of all the things I have done in my life thus far, classical music is certainly my creative outlet. It allows me to express my passion, bring immense joy to others and myself, and portray the beauty of each written masterpiece.
My instructor has given me the wisdom and encouragement to strive for the perfection of my craft. To this day, we work diligently to not only learn but accomplish the pieces that I take onto the stage. The resilience I have built with her support has not only improved my performance but more importantly, taught me to persevere through life’s challenges. Whether completing a task or resolving an issue within my community, the root of my success stems from the strength I have built from the obstacles of my passion.
