I have been playing since I was four years old, when I overheard my older brother playing pieces by Grieg and Mendelssohn. I have kept him as a role model throughout my musical journey, and the lessons I took alongside him fostered a budding and ever-growing love for classical music. Aside from playing, I have also transcribed various pieces, such as Scriabin’s 1st Symphony, to piano duet, to perform at local venues and to more readily share great works that others could not hear in person without an orchestra. Keeping both my pianist friends and beloved composers close to heart, I now find myself wanting to share my passion with others and carve my own path in music through the piano.
