Vivian Leung

Vivian Leung is a second grader in Seattle (USA). She has been taking piano lessons from Ms. Marissa Rebadulla-Ramos since she was six years old. She plays the piano with great joy and enjoys performing as well as listening to classical music every day. As the first prize winner of the 2024 Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition, she was invited to perform at Kleine Zaal, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and at Gläserner Saal, Musikverein in Vienna. She also received a first prize with Special Honours at the 2024 Red Maple Piano Competition and a second prize with Special Honours and Distinction at the 2024 Rocky Mountain Music Competition, both with an invitation to perform in Toronto. She was the first prize winner of the 2024 Charleston International Winter Music Competition. Her other awards include a gold medal at the 2024 World Classical Music Competition, a silver medal at the 2023 King’s Peak International Music Competition, and multiple medals at the 2022 & 2023 SIPF Bach Festivals. In addition, she has had multiple public performances as a participant of the WSMTA Music Artistry Program, Chopin NW Festivals, and other music events.

In addition to piano, she plays the violin for the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra (SYSO) and studies music theory & history at the Seattle Conservatory of Music. Since 2023, she has had orchestral performances at several concert halls, including Benaroya Hall (Seattle) and Meany Hall (University of Washington).
